About AHC Greater Baltimore

AHC Greater Baltimore was established in 2004 as a subsidiary of our parent organization, Affordable Homes & Communities. We expanded to the Baltimore area to address the need for more affordable housing in the region. So far, AHC Greater Baltimore has made great strides, developing nine properties with more than 1,600 affordable apartments.

Six women stand together smiling in front of a wall with artwork and a large blue UNITY design, reflecting Baltimore’s affordable community spirit. One woman in the center holds a white cane and wears a red jacket; others are dressed casually.
Two circular icons: one orange with a white building, and one teal with a white house featuring a heart in the center, symbolizing an affordable community in Baltimore.

AHC Greater Baltimore Communities

AHC Greater Baltimore’s has developed or preserved a variety of affordable apartments. Our communities range from an award-winning block-wide renovation of historic row houses (Union Rowe) to the multi-phase revitalization of a massive 62-acre, 1940s public housing community on Baltimore’s southeast side, which is still underway (Key’s Pointe).
