Sylvia Martin
Sylvia joined AHC as Vice President of Asset Management in Spring 2024. In this role, she oversees the overall management and operation of AHC’s portfolio. Sylvia brings over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and asset management, including market-rate multifamily, affordable housing, senior housing, and mixed-used/mixed-income multifamily assets. She previously served as Vice President of Asset Management for a syndicator of LIHTC apartment communities. Over her tenure with the firm, she was responsible for managing a 13,500+ unit national affordable housing portfolio.
Sylvia holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida. She is a Certified Property Manager® through IREM® and a Housing Credit Certified Professional with the National Association of Home Builders. In her free time, she enjoys crime thrillers, fishing, and spending time at the beach with her family.
