First Citizens Bank invests in the programs that help Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) residents build financial stability and lasting opportunity. This year, the First Citizens gave $26,000 to support AHC’s holistic Resident Services programming, including its growing education services for students and families.
First Citizens also brings its financial expertise directly to AHC communities, with bank staff leading financial education workshops for adult residents and hosting activities for families.

First Citizens’ team shows up in person, too. When representatives visited AHC to deliver this year’s gift, they stayed to play a few rounds of Connect 4 with AHC students. At Hunter’s Park, an AHC senior community in Arlington, staff led a fraud prevention workshop to help residents protect their finances, then stayed for bingo and pizza.
